Glitter Ornaments

I made these with the scouts on Saturday. They are super simple to make.

1. take the top off of a clear ornament (glass or plastic will work)
2. pour in some Mop and Glo, swish and dump out extra
3. pour in some glitter, swish and dump out any extra
4. replace the top and embellish

I brought my cricut into the kitchen for this scout meeting. The boys went crazy with it. We used my gypsy to make a cut file to decorate their ornaments. We cut the items out of white Cricut vinyl and then the boys put them on the ornaments.

  2. Katie, I love the Mop-N-Glo idea. I will certainly give this a try. We have used regular craft paint, especially metallics, swirled around together inside these glass ornaments, and left to drip dry on a baking rack over paper towels - Gorgeous! Martha Stewart has a new line of TIUNSEL glitter out, now - especially sparkly, and the colors are to die for. Thanks for the great idea.
