Teenager

Cory's 13 birthday party. Uncle Morgan threw him into the pool. (top right photo) I made this lo using Mickey and Friends, Mickey Font and Doodlecharms. I also used Martha Stewart glitter to enhance the title and embellishments.

My Craft Space

WendyCranford from the Cricut Message Board asked to see my craft space. Thanks for the interest Wendy!

Overall workspace:
I use a cheap table from Walmart with plastic drawers underneath. The drawer unit to the right is new. I haven't filled the all drawers yet but I'm sure I will soon. I have to slide this out to use my cricut but then I can reach the drawers easier.

Making Memories Embellishment Center:
My mom gave me this for my birthday. I love all the stuff that it holds. I am constantly moving things around in it to add more stuff.

Paper Storage:
I have 2 j max cubes that I bought at Michaels. I turned them sideways so I can see the paper better. I have a small set of drawers for pictures, glue, rulers, etc. I use a file folder (black) to hold all my scrap paper. All paper is sorted by color.

Cricut Cartridge Storage:
I use Plano Sliders. They are meant for fishing but work well for this too. I bought them from Amazon.com. Click Here for the link. I took the covers off and I taped the sliders in place. Now if I want to go to a crop, I just take them off the wall and put the covers on.

Disney - Family

Mi-Mi, Uncle Joe, Auntie Betsy, Alex and Madison joined us in Florida. Here is a group shot by the tree of life.

Page details: I used both DS and SCAL to create this page. I used George, Storybook and Plantation cricut carts.

The font is called Waltograph and I downloaded it from www.dafont.com

Decorating Christmas Stockings

Here are the boys while they were decorating stockings. Cory even got into the swing of things! It was a wild night. I didn't add the pictures of Scott in his underwear. I'm saving those for when he's older.

Stockings

The before and afters of the Christmas stockings.

Cookies for Santa

Here's a picture of the cookies and goodies that the boys left out for Santa. They gave him cookies, milk (not in photo), pictures they drew and a gift. Zachary wrapped a toy shark in a toilet paper tube for Santa.

The layout was a challenge on ACOT. The challenge was to use 8 sparkly snowflakes.

Rudolph

Mi-Mi gave Zachary a snow globe for Christmas. Jeff taught him that if you lick the packing peanuts that came in the box, they stick together. Zachary promptly made himself a reindeer costume to wear.

A Visit From Santa

I made this lo for a challenge on ACOT forum. It's a picture of our tree on Christmas morning. It seems to have less and less gifts under each year as the kids taste gets more expensive. Cory and Scott got laptops this year!

Decorating Christmas Stockings

Tonight the boys and I decorated Christmas stockings while Daddy was out shopping. We had a great time but it got a little wild. There was dancing, laughing, wrestling and somehow Scott lost his pants!

The Castle and The Family

This page will be the opening page in our Disney scrapbook.

Weeweechu...

It's a romantic full moon, when Pedro said, "Hey, mamacita, let's do Weeweechu."

Oh no, not now, let's look at the moon!" said Rosita.

Oh, c'mon baby, let's you and I do Weeweechu. I love you and it's the perfect time," Pedro begged.

"But I wanna just hold your hand and watch the moon." replied Rosita.

Please, corazoncito, just once, do Weeweechu with me."

Rosita looked at Pedro and said, "OK, one time, we'll do Weeweechu."

Pedro grabbed his guitar and they both sang.....

"Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, Weeweechu a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year."

Card for Cricut Ladies

Jeff came home from work/Christmas shopping tonight and tells me that these ladies at work were having a cricut conversation. They couldn't believe how much he knew about it. (Meanwhile, I'm thinking that if he paid attention even 10% of the time I talked he would have blown their minds.) They have never been online or heard of DS. Here's the kicker, he asks me if I can make him something to show them that can only be make if you have DS. Oh yeah, he needs it for tomorrow.

Here is the card I made. Maybe we'll see some new faces on the cricut message board after tomorrow.

Cinderella

Pics of the whole family with Cinderella. She is my personal favorite. I used "Happily Ever After" cricut cart and papers from Close To My Heart.

Disney Photos

I went to Walmart and picked up the Disney photos from our family trip in March 2004. I can't believe how small the boys were! Here is the first layout. I used the Pooh and friends cart and misc. paper I had laying around.

December 19th Challenge

This challenge came from the Pieces of Paper Forum. The boys played on two soccer teams this year which made our lives a lot easier. Cory was the highest goal scorer for his team. Scott and Zachary spent a lot of time in the goal making some great saves. Anthony moved up a level to play with the big kids. He kept up well running very fast.

AHHHHHHHHHH...

I am so mad at Snapfish/Walgreens. Over the last few days I have uploaded several pictures to Snapfish to print at Walgreens. They are one hour prints. Today we braved the snow and went to Walgreens to pick up my photos. Well they only had one order! They didn't even have record of the second order in the computer. What? They sent me a confirmation email telling me that they were done printing and I could pick them up days ago. The man working said that this happens sometimes and I just need to resend them. I don't think so. I will stick with printing at Walmart and waiting a few days if I want glossy prints.

Teacher Gift #2

Here is the can for Zachary's teacher. The kids are supposed to be her kids. Her oldest son rides my kindergarten bus.

This is the paint can that we decorated for Anthony's teacher for Christmas. He filled it with small goodies, candy and handmade ornaments.

Niagara Falls Album

Here is my entire Niagara Falls album. My family went in July 2008. Several of our friends were able to join us which made the trip even more special. We stated in a state park in New York on Lake Ontario. It was gorgeous. The lake sounded like the ocean. My family did travel into Canada for one day. It was a great experience but the Skylon Tower was really scarey for me. There will be payback for that. This summer (2009) we will be going to Disney and I told them that they would have to have dinner with the princesses!
